Am I hallucinating?

Did you ever listen very accurately to "Neverending Story"?
If I'm not totally mad, I'd say from 1:47 one can hear already the stabby saw-Synth from the C-Part playin in the background.

Maybe its more obvious than I know, but however I discovered this one after analyzing the track very often...

There are some more examples for this sorta unifying of a track I'll post later...

Have you any other examples?

You are not mad, I hear it to at that place. Actually I never really thought about it I think, nor I really noticed it, atleast I can't remember noticing it before, but now you said it I gave it a listen and it's clearly to be heared, yes ;)

I think it's very good, but the Neverending Story vocals doesn't fit to that speed.
It would have been better if they used other vocals, or just a melodic chorus.

they do fit, but nevertheless this track sounds very cheap and kinda amateurish

I mean that for me, the Neverending Story vocals sounds bad, when they are in that speed. If they had been slower, like in the original, it would have sounded better to me.
I have nothing against the song in itself, I would just prefer a melodical part over the HPV in that speed.

The speed of the vocals are a bit faster than in the original, and combined with the jumpstyle sound, it makes the song less good than it could have been, to me.
Anyway, here's the original:

cant say i have never herd that part before,
i too dont like this track much, the song in a whole is great, but the neverending story sample ruined what could have been one of scooters best,
to me this track is a high light on the album

I agree. I like the Neverending Story sample, but the jump sounds + the increased speed of the vocals in comparison to the original, pulls the result down for my opinion.

JAOTW was and is scooters worst album, expecailly production wise, it was so basic and easily ripped,
but somehow it turned into a super hit for scooter

dont get me wrong, it was a welcome change after all the years of trance, and it has its high points,
but i can neversee howit was so successful even with the hits with it

but we all know that the hit cd was the bulk of its success

on the other hand, it is very entertaining to here

i normanlly find that most tracks a really good, but are ruined by bad points

cambodia is great, but the sample to me lets it down

Neverending Story by Limahl is not the only track that has been sampled from the movie.

Life Is Too Short by Kai Tracid contains the maintheme from Neverending Story Movie.

But I think you all already know this.
Yesterday Is History, Today Is A Gift, Tomorrow Is Mystery...

Indeed it does. Flug auf dem Glücksdrachen by Jay Frog also use the Neverending Story main theme.
Gotta say I think Jay's is the best of those 2.
