1. Scooter isn't techno, and no, techno isn't dying
2. Better to die and leave good, happy memories, then to produce any kind of sh*t in order to remain popular
3. You should change your habits and the music you like? why? to be popular in society? If you like something, then you stay behind your beliefs and you do your own style, your own thing, you dont sell out! I'm not against experimenting and trying something different but there are some boundaries that shouldn't be crossed...this kind of fanatic conformism is nonsense...you should change your way of thinking a.s.a.p mate, and not just you...damn, you can read all kind of stuff here...

Actually Scooter is really not Techno (as a concrete style). But the masses calls all the dance styles Techno, that's why Scooter calling themselves so too ;)

Then there is Detroid Techno, Acid Techno, Minimal, Trance, Tech Trance, Hard Trance, Hardstyle, Hardcore, House, Electro, Eurodance...
seriously who the hell can differ exactly between like 500 genres?

If Scooter say they're techno, then they are. :P
In the end I don't f#cking care, they could even be Schlager.
I like the music, I hear it. That's the most important thing that matters for me...

and that must mean that Scooter produce techno...bravo!

term "techno" is often used as a synonym for "electronica" or "electronic dance music (EDM)" which is much wider term then techno...techno is just a sub-genre of electronica, like drum 'n' bass, trance, house etc. Another term that people like to use as a synonym for electronica, or as a style that Scooter produce, is rave...that just pisses me off, it isn't a genre people...And yes, techno music certainly doesn't have anything to do with Scooter...
but if javad meant to use techno as a synonym for a wider genre, electronic dance music, then let me rephrase myself: "No, electronic dance music isn't dying, on the contrary!"

thing is: people think electronic music is sh!t, apart from techno.
this ignorance is something to be pissed off and not what genre Scooter's music is in...

Scooter produced some hardcore tracks, so they actually are hardcore.
Or not? ;)

People can call it what they want. As long as they don't start releasing sh#t then I'm happy. They needed to make changes after UTROTT bombed the way it did (As much as I liked it), and this is a good move. Rick just has the knack of tweaking what they're good at to keep them current and relevant.

Yes, point taken but in theory it wasn't that successful IMO, could've/should've done much better with the right marketing globally. Anyway, didn't Crazy Frog get a gold disc in Germany just from ringtone downloads? :P

some times we must break our roles for success
some times old things don't work any more
some times we need deferment styles

some times we call it change

Each album is different already from the reason that they unlikely want the same themselves, and because they become better.

Oh come on, just because of something H.P. wears there's some "change" going on?
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
