[!] DJ Flatline - Rocking With The Ravers

Here comes another track from me, party people! :)

I tried some new thing I've never done before. Can you imagine some broken beats mixed up with acoustic drumkits and electric guitar? Even putting this into a 175BPM environment? :)

Well, here ya go, catch this!

http://spdepot.uw.hu/flt/dj_flatline_-_rocking_with_the_ravers-flt.mp3

It has some drum&bass motives, but also brings up some electro beats mixed with vocoded vocals and TB-303 leads.
Check it out! Comments welcome :)

I think the melodies are fine but the sounds are very minmal. They sound like they are from the early 90s. Is this what you were going for? I can see this maybe from early 1990, but these sounds are not hard to create.

overall a fine production, just reallly simple sounding.

You're technique sounds better, but you should be evolving your sound by now. I have to agree with scooterusa. This doesn't sound evolved to today's technology.

Okay, well I wasn't sure if that was your style or your skills. You definitely emulate the classic dance sounds very well, almost perfectly. Too bad you weren't doing this in the early 90's, you would have been good for commercial trance and rave back in the day.

I agree with scooterusa and tales - your track is really fine, the mastering seems to be good but the sounds are from the last century. In the beginning of the 90s you could have a success with this tune but today there is no chance, I think.

Anyway, respect, man! ;)

Yeah, I hope that your track on Posse Drums Vol.2 will be more modern =)
Good luck ! ;)

I have to say, this is actually quite good imo.
The ideas in this are good and just all sounds quite funkeh - Though a bit of moderation could be nice in the beat. Other than that all i can say is nice work mate ;)

Very good Imre!
A bit more "action" in the music and less dominating vocal and I will by it.

Good work!
